Séka Hills, the specialty food product line from the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, now proudly offers a wildflower honey in addition to its premium olive oils, estate grown wines and organic produce. This honey draws its distinctive taste from the rolling hills and fields of Yocha Dehe’s ancestral homeland in Northern California’s Capay Valley. Its richness and depth come from the extensive variety of wildflowers such as redbud, rose clover and ceanothus found on 9,000 acres of tribal land, where thousands of hives are strategically distributed. Séka Hills partners with renowned beekeeper John Foster to collect and bottle the honey. The dark amber honey is boldly flavored and aromatic. It adds depth to hearty baked goods, such as whole-grain breads. Paired with full-bodied cheeses as well as fresh cheeses and yogurt, this honey provides layers of flavors reminiscent of molasses and brown sugar caramel. This honey is collected, filtered and bottled by Capay Valley beekeeper John Foster.

Seka Hills Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from the 20-acre estate, medium density orchard that is just across the road from the Mill and Tasting Room; these olives were hand-harvested and milled immediately. Picual is the most widely planted olive in Spain, and the Picual grown in California is rapidly becoming known as producing distinctive, nuanced oils. The Séka Hills Picual is a distinctive, medium intensity oil with grassy and herbaceous aromas, followed by layered flavors of green chicory, tomato leaf, and spice. It is delicious with grilled foods and in marinades.

Seka Hills Olio Nuovo from the 2025 milling of their Arbequina olives is now available as a pre-order item. The harvest is expected in mid October with the olives delivered immediately to their Italian built state-of-the-art mill. Bottled directly after milling, Olio Nuovo celebrates the season and only a limited amount is bottled while most of the new harvest oils are “settled” for several weeks before bottling. Fresh, bright & bold, Olio Nuovo should be enjoyed within a few months after harvest.
