As Pontis Organic EVOO is made of hand-harvested olives from old, indigenous Manzanilla Cacereña trees on the Carrasco family property, in the Sierra de Gata region of Extremadura, Spain. In 2014 & 2015 it won gold at the New York International Olive Oil Competition. Light in the mouth, buttery and medium-bodied, it reflects an excellent balance of ripe olive fruit, bitter and pepper, with hints of thyme. The scent is  herbaceous with overtones of green tomato leaves.
