Bresaola Bernina® honors the traditional methods of authentic Bresaola from the Valtellina region, combining refined techniques to create a product that is tender, soft, and of exceptional quality. Made in Uruguay, with meat which comes from cattle raised in the open, on green natural fields, free of hormones and growth promoters, using no animal protein in feeding. Thanks to a strategic alliance with “Salumificio Menatti”, a well-known industry of Italian Salumeria situated in the region of Valtellina and member of the select group of certified producers of the “Bresaola della Valtellina IGP”, the Bresaola Bernina® has managed to incorporate the natural quality of the Uruguayan meat to the traditional. Bresaola is characterized by its intense and uniform red color, a tender and flexible consistency, delicate aroma, soft and defined flavor which melts in the mouth together with the typical spices of the alpine region. To fully appreciate its characteristic taste, it should be sliced no thicker than 1mm and enjoyed raw at room temperature. Perfect as a starter, hors d'oeuvre, or in sandwiches and salads. Aged for up to three months.
